Job Description Everything we do is centered on providing a world class homeowner experience through the process of installing RbA's windows and doors. The Installer IV has the ability to run a project on their own including standard installs, Andersen retro-fits, and patio doors.

Responsibilities

Install basic and intermediate window and door product in accordance with Renewal standards and productivity expectations

Ability to apply stucco flashing/waterproof opening

Intermediate aluminum bending ability (brickmold bends, T-flange, various angle bends)

Ability to mull product in field or warehouse without supervision

Ability to cut and apply extension jambs

Ability to modify window/door openings to meet egress

Consistently complete job close information, accurately logging service items with proper terminology and set general next step service expectations with homeowner

Ability to set all product styles (specialty window, patio doors, entry doors)

Ability to set product without supervision (standard inserts, exterior install, create a pocket, full frame and brickmold, L-flange, patio doors, entry doors, and storm doors)

Ability to cut and apply casing to all types to precise dimensions and reveals (picture frame, and stool and apron)

With supervision SPW (arch tops and traps)

Assures jobsite safety practices and procedures are followed at the jobsite, including but not limited to, PPE, fall protection, power tool use, and proper lifting requirements.

Assures pre-arrival planning for materials and resources are completed

Makes necessary decisions about work site set up, workflow and proper installation techniques

Assess jobsite for hazards prior to commencement of work. Address hazards as needed

Resolve customer concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner

Ability to problem solve any installation concerns with Field techs or installation manager

Performs routine inspections of tools and equipment for proper guarding and damage

Adheres to renewal safety programs and training requirements

Maintains company vehicle in accordance with Fleet policy

Ability and knowledge to install insulation of all types (spray foam, fiberglass, etc.)

Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings and hardware

Demonstrates responsible attendance and punctuality

Other duties as assigned

General warehouse support

Adheres to Renewal safety programs and training requirements

Provide technical measure functions when needed

Provide service support as needed

Provides direction, coaching and training to Install I & II, and III

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Valid Driver’s License with ability to pass a fleet check

Window and Door installation experience

Intermediate knowledge of framing and construction

Intermediate knowledge of building codes

Intermediate knowledge of service parts and procedures

Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings and hardware

Thorough understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices in construction environments

Safety knowledge of all equipment

Renewal installation experience strongly preferred

Can independently run a job (Insert, Full Tear-Out, and Doors. No Custom Scope of Work) in absence of Install Lead

Demonstrated ability to confidently handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful and diplomatic approach; Ability to maintain perspective under demanding conditions

Demonstrates responsible attendance and punctuality

Ability to provide corrective action feedback relating to safety on the job site

Ability to lift up to 83 pounds

Organizational skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levels

Advanced communication and conflict resolution skills

Advanced finish carpentry skills (Curved, Step, Wide Trim, etc.)

Advanced knowledge of framing and construction

Advanced knowledge of service parts, procedures, and ability to install parts (dismantle/reassembly units, Hdwr, etc.)

Advanced listening, empathy and conflict resolution skills

Advanced math skills, including the ability to accurately use a tape measure for project/product measurements

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Advanced understanding of building codes

Advanced understanding of water management. (Flashing, Sealant, Shingling, etc.)

CORO Safety and Compliance training required

Lead Certification

First Aid/CPR - Every 2 years

OSHA 10-hr Construction Safety - Every 2 years

Ad hoc trainings as assigned

Pay Range $23.12 - $34.68

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
