Paralegal
to join our
Construction Defect Practice Group
in West Los Angeles. This is a hands‑on role supporting seasoned construction defect attorneys on high-profile, complex litigation matters from day one.
As part of our collaborative and well-established team, you’ll play a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of construction defect cases while working closely with attorneys who value mentorship, teamwork, and professional growth. The position offers a
hybrid work model , providing flexibility between in‑office collaboration and remote work.
What You’ll Do
Support attorneys through all phases of construction defect litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations/arbitrations, and trial preparation
Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial exhibits
Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and document production using litigation support systems
Coordinate with clients, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel as directed
Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including exhibit organization and summaries
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements
What We’re Looking For
Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience
At least 2 years of experience supporting construction defect or complex civil litigation matters
Strong organizational, proofreading, and document management skills
Familiarity with California court procedures and e‑filling systems
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
A proactive, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused approach to work
