We are seeking a skilled, detail‑oriented
Legal Assistant
to join our collaborative legal team. If you have a strong background in
Trusts & Estates
and thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You’ll work closely with attorneys to manage estate matters from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, organization, and exceptional client service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Assist with mailing/filing income tax returns, gift tax returns, and estate tax returns
Maintain and create Corporate Records
Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files, estate documents and trust records
Coordinate signatures, notarization, and document execution (including e‑signature platforms such as DocuSign)
Enter attorney timeslips into iTimekeep
Serve as a primary client contact, ensuring timely communication with beneficiaries and related professionals
Support attorneys with case management from inception through resolution
Required Competencies, Education and Experience
5+ years of legal experience, in Trusts & Estates
Proficiency in fiduciary accounting and legal case/document management
Excellent organization, accuracy, and communication skills
This position requires regular and predictable in‑office attendance
