is searching for a skilled Commercial HVAC Controls Technician/Service Technician to support our Indianapolis, IN location. This is a hybrid position that requires both controls experience and a willingness to go on service calls and perform standard Service Technician duties as needed.
Competitive Pay:
$17.00 – $21.00 per hour.

The HVAC Controls Technician/Service Technician Will:
Backup network data.
Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals.
Analyze and report computer network security breaches or attempted breaches.
Identify the causes of networking problems using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
Document network support activities.
Configure WAN or LAN routers or related equipment.
Install network software, including security or firewall software.
Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users or user groups.
Provide telephone support related to networking or connectivity issues.
Evaluate LAN/WAN performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, identify network problems, or support disaster recovery.
Analyze network data to determine usage, disk space availability, or server function.
Perform routine maintenance or standard repairs to networking components or equipment.
Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of LAN, WAN, hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair and preventive maintenance of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration units, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumps.
Diagnose diverse service issues; obtain replacement parts; calibrate systems to manufacturer’s recommendations and explain fully to the customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance as needed for HVAC system operations.
Travel to job sites in the service area, coordinate with dispatch, and communicate schedule changes to customers and dispatch.
Enter call resolutions using company software and applications.
Be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs.
Create and maintain cordial and collaborative relationships with superiors and co‑workers.
Participate in company and/or vendor‑provided training opportunities.
Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area and company vehicle.
Maintain required documentation, reporting and data in a timely manner.
Qualified HVAC Controls Technician/Service Technician Candidates Have:
Minimum of 5 years combined commercial/industrial HVAC Control Technician experience AND Service Technician experience.
Proven experience using Tridium Niagara 4 (N4); N4 certification a plus.
EPA Universal Certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
