Job Overview
KI's manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening in the Weld/Fabrication department for a Welder/Fabrication Technician.
Responsibilities
Operate robotic welders, benders, and saws.
Perform brazing operations and spot welds.
Load material into machines to join components.
Inspect completed metal workpieces to ensure consistent quality product in a fast-paced environment.
Work first shift (primarily 5 a.m.–2 p.m., Monday–Friday); overtime and weekends may be required during peak production months.
Qualifications
Previous weld and fabrication experience.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and read shop and open orders.
Ability to work on feet for long periods of time.
Attention to quality and detail while maintaining continuous pace.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Successful completion of a drug screen.
