NuCO2 is the largest national provider of beverage‑grade liquid CO2 to the food service and hospitality industry. We have an immediate need for a Flex Installer who is responsible for managing on‑site installation, repair, maintenance, and equipment testing for CO2 high‑pressure cylinders and other products on an established route.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Flex Resource Technician will be required to fill in as a Delivery Driver, Installer/Technician, and/or Depot Supervisor as needed.

Address and report any depot compliance issues to the District Manager and/or District Safety Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct the Tech/Driver Supervisor, Technician, or any Driver in any task or directive.

Train new associates and provide safety training.

Supervise any depot location.

Adhere to and enforce the organization’s policies, procedures, Federal/State applicable laws and municipal regulations.

Interview, hire, road test, and train associates.

Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and counsel employees; address complaints and resolve depot concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

Travel regionally or nationally, including multiple overnight stays, minimum 50% of the time.

Flexible to travel with minimal notice.

Lead and motivate subordinates through a safety‑first, goal‑oriented mindset.

Read, analyze, and interpret established SOPs, technical procedures, or government regulations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills.

Basic knowledge of permitting procedures, where applicable.

Basic mathematical skills.

Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.

Experience with UltiPro, Digital Dashboard, E‑Pal, Nu Routes, and Microsoft Office products preferred.

Experience with hazardous material and pressurized gas systems preferred.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

High school diploma or GED.

Associate’s degree or bachelor’s preferred.

EXPERIENCE

At least 21 years of age.

Minimum two years experience as a supervisor preferred.

Minimum one year commercial driving experience in a similar vehicle in the past three years.

Clean driving record meeting NuCO2’s Safety Point System.

Strong mechanical ability and basic knowledge of building construction process required.

Previous experience in plumbing, cable installation, or construction experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

CDL – Minimum Class B.

HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.

No air brake restrictions.

Medical Card required.

Maintain Boiler License where applicable.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Wear required PPE: hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, steel‑toed boots, and gloves.

Direct lift up to 55 lbs.; frequently pull/push 56–175 lbs.

Maneuver an appliance dolly with CO2 tanks up to 750 lbs.; 6 ft. tall using a handcart.

Climb in and out of truck multiple times a day.

Climb ladders and work in confined spaces while reaching over head.

Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and crawling.

Work at different height levels.

Work outdoors while tolerating extreme temperatures.

Pull and retrace a fill hose up to 100 feet.

Wear company required uniforms.
