About ST Engineering Aerospace ST Engineering Aerospace operates at Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, AL, and Pensacola International Airport, FL. We provide aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. Our mission is to deliver high‑quality, reliable, and timely AMM and engineering solutions.
What You Will Do
Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on commercial aircraft types.
Schedule job tasks and meet completion timelines.
Assist, guide, train, oversee, and evaluate others.
Manage large skin repairs, wing spar and keel beam repairs, and disassembly/reconstruction per blueprints.
Execute Service Bulletins, ADs, EO s, and EA s affecting primary, PSE and other systems.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret SRMs, service bulletins, engineering work orders, and blueprints.
Plan and execute complex reinforcing repairs and replacements.
Apply bend radius, set‑back, and bend allowance charts; use shop math.
Adhere to ATA codes, F.A.R. requirements, and company policies.
Ensure job clocking and sign‑off procedures are followed.
Qualifications
At least 8 months commercial or military structures mechanic experience.
Proficiency as a Sheetmetal Technician and ability to progress to Lead Mechanic.
Strong blueprint reading, SLMM, and major SRM repair skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must lift 50 lbs. and be able to distinguish colors.
Physical Requirements Requires easy mobility across the facility, dexterity for installing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
