Get to Know Edgewood Community Church Located in the heart of central Wisconsin, Edgewood Community Church is a growing, gospel-centered, multi-campus church with a compelling story. We began in Waupun, a community of about 11,000, and have steadily expanded to four campuses, welcoming around 1,300 people in weekly attendance. Since planting in 1996, Edgewood has remained committed to biblical preaching, simple and effective ministry, and a passion for multiplying gospel impact. Our multi-site model allows each campus to reflect its local community while sharing a common foundation of Gospel, Community, and Mission.
Edgewood is an elder-led, theologically conservative church with Reformed leanings, yet we are marked by a welcoming spirit that graciously embraces people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Our leadership culture is grounded in health and unity, driven by a deep love for Christ and His church. We are excited to keep expanding our reach, and have a heart for planting and strengthening local churches across our region.
The Church As part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), Edgewood is a vibrant, family-oriented church with contemporary worship and expositional preaching. We’re blessed with a healthy financial position—debt-free at two of our campuses and sustained by generous giving, including a recently completed $1.2 million capital campaign for our newest campus. Our leadership is forward-thinking and eager to welcome teammates who are passionate about stewarding growth and mission in a healthy, supportive environment.
Edgewood’s four campuses are each unique, yet united in vision and values, designed to meet the needs of their local communities. The staff culture here is marked by strong relationships, teamwork, and a shared commitment to spiritual growth—for both our church family and one another. We believe ministry flourishes in an atmosphere of grace and encouragement, where people can grow in faith and serve with purpose.
Philosophy of Ministry At Edgewood, everything we do flows from three core values we call our discipleship essentials: Gospel, Community, and Mission.
Gospel
— The good news of Jesus isn't just the entry point into faith; it's the daily fuel for transformation, shaping how we preach, lead, and live.
Community
— We believe authentic, Christ-centered relationships are essential, not optional. Life-change happens best when we're truly known and walking alongside one another.
Mission
— We exist to make disciple-makers, not just churchgoers, locally in central Wisconsin and globally to the ends of the earth.
These aren't just things we talk about; they're woven into every ministry, decision, and conversation at Edgewood.
