Chambliss Center for Children is hiring caring and energetic Teacher Assistants to work in a one-of-a-kind childcare program located inside Hamilton County Schools. These classrooms serve children from infants to Pre‑K and allow the schools to offer on‑site childcare to their staff with young children.

Job Details
Location:
East Brainerd Elementary, 7600 Goodwin Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421
Schedule:
Tues, Wed, Thurs 8:30am‑12:30pm
Pay:
From $11/hour with a high school diploma and limited experience. Pay increases with education and classroom experience.
What You’ll Need
Must be 18 or older with at least a high school diploma or GED
Able to pass a fingerprint background check
Experience in early childhood education is a plus
Team player with a love for working with children and families
What You’ll Do
Supervise and care for children during all activities
Help plan and lead fun, learning‑based activities
Keep the classroom clean and organized
Work closely with other staff, parents, and volunteers
Watch for children’s health needs and respond appropriately
Support the overall mission of Chambliss Center for Children
