Sign Manufacturing Production and Design Manager
Job Summary
The Sign Manufacturing Production and Design Manager is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. This individual is also detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced team environment, and is able to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities
Sign design and production
Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
Consult/interface with customers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
Assist in maintaining company signage equipment
Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs
Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a professional sign maker – design and production
Background in vinyl creation and application and large format digital printing
Strong computer and file management skills as well as design creativity
Expert experience in one or more of the following programs: FlexiSIGN, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop
Experience with ONYX or similar RIP software
Solid track record of accurately estimating and meeting deadlines
Detail-orientation and multi-tasking skills are critical
Strong people skills, able to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment
Work directly with customers and subcontractors
Experience with sign industry CoreBridge software would be a plus
Knowledge in color management a plus
Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.) a plus
NOTE: In order to be considered, you must have sign industry-specific experience in both DESIGN and PRODUCTION! We want the BEST, so serious candidates only, please.
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
