Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician - Sign On Bonus (Finance)
Walmart is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets across local retail stores.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits
Sign‑on bonus up to $7,500.
Salary range: $56,160 – $106,080.
Eligible for bonus incentive.
