Saturation/Impregnation Machine Operator

EGGER Wood Products is seeking a dedicated Saturation/Impregnation Machine Operator to join our team. In this production role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining saturation/impregnation machinery to treat decorative papers with resin solutions, preparing them for the lamination manufacturing process. You will also conduct quality checks and collaborate with your team to keep our production processes running smoothly and efficiently.

Starting Pay: $21/hour
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
Set up, operate, and monitor advanced saturation/impregnation machinery.
Utilize the HMI panel to adjust parameters such as resin viscosity, paper feed rate, and drying temperature.
Operate resin application systems, drying ovens, and tension control mechanisms, to ensure precise resin impregnation of decorative papers.
Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify resin distribution and paper quality.
Ensuring adherence to production specifications and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the production process.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the production area.
Follow all Safety Rules and Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to learn and understand a comprehensive training program.
Other duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
Experience in clear communication.
Understanding and ability to work as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and ability to learn.
Experience with tools and machinery.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE
Minimum high school diploma, additional education a plus.
Valid drivers' license.
