Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company that designs orthopaedic products. We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator II to support our Milling area on Night Shift (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 pm to 6 am) at the Pendleton, SC location. The successful candidate will help produce superior products by operating and maintaining CNC machines, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines based on written instructions and work orders.
Set up machines, load material, and perform line clearance.
Verify correct program and tool selection; adjust tool offsets as needed.
Deburr parts, measure against blueprints, and perform first‑cut and first‑PC inspections.
Perform back‑to‑back and partial setups on multi‑axis lathes and machining centers.
Monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and adjust controls for tolerances.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
Record data in the SAP system and report safety or maintenance concerns immediately.
Support other operations as assigned by Crew Coordinators or Supervisor.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of direct CNC machine experience or equivalent vocational education.
Experience with machine setup, line clearance, and use of precision measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and commitment to team safety, quality, and efficiency.
Completion of assigned manufacturing curriculum within 180 days of hire, including core manufacturing fundamentals and metrology courses.
Machine, Tools, and Equipment Skills
Multi‑axis Swiss lathes, standard lathes, milling machining centers, grinders, EDM.
