Position Summary
Oliver is seeking a skilled
Electro Mechanical Technician
to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of our electrical systems and manufacturing equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient production operations by maintaining presses, machinery, and facility‑related systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role As our Electro Mechanical Technician, you will:
Install, maintain, test, and repair
electrical systems, components, and manufacturing equipment
Perform
mechanical repairs
on production machinery, including assemblies and sub‑assemblies
Conduct
trial runs of machinery
to verify performance, quality, and operational specifications
Troubleshoot electrical components, machines, and equipment to diagnose and resolve issues
Monitor machinery to ensure
safe and proper operation
Read and interpret
electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
Support
preventive maintenance programs
to minimize downtime
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and submit purchase orders as needed
Assist with
facility maintenance tasks
as required, including basic carpentry and general repairs
Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and management as needed
About You You're a fit for the role of Electro Mechanical Technician, if your background includes:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3 + years of electro‑mechanical or industrial maintenance experience
Broad knowledge of
electrical systems, mechanics, and machining
Must be able to read and interpret
electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Comfortable working independently and handling non‑routine situations
Basic math skills, including use of fractions and decimals
Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members
