Overview This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist who enjoys precision work, flexible hours, and contributing to high-quality aerospace manufacturing programs. You ll work in a hands-on machine shop environment supporting critical production efforts, with the potential for long-term placement based on performance and project demand. If you take pride in accuracy, craftsmanship, and working from detailed drawings, this role offers stability, flexibility, and exposure to meaningful aerospace projects.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate the manual milling machine to manufacture parts in accordance with company specifications and procedures
Follow instructions set forth on the latest revision-controlled drawing and documentation
Load parts and tooling onto milling machine
Measure and deburr parts to ensure accuracy
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of machine shop experience
Experience with manual machining
Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lifting up to 30lbs
Ability to work part time, 20-30 hours a week; times and days are flexible as long as the hours are within the following schedule: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:30pm and Friday 7am to 3:30pm.
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet production and attendance expectations
ITAR:
Candidates must be U.S. Persons as defined in the ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).
