2nd Shift Lead Maintenance Mechanic —a hands‑on leader who plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. economy by maintaining metal recycling equipment that feeds the critical supply chain to Foundries and Steel Mills.
You’ll be part of working on some of the coolest production machinery across all industries! What’s better than an Auto Shredder that can shred a car in just a few seconds?
What You’ll Do
Perform general maintenance on outdoor machinery
Weld, fabricate, and torch with precision
Lead a team and communicate effectively via email and basic computer tools
Keep essential recycling equipment operating—supporting American manufacturing and infrastructure

Qualifications
Preferred: 2‑3 years of prior experience
Skills
Regular crawl, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs – Novice level
Fabrication – Expert level
Interpersonal – expert level (interacts effectively with others)
Regular sit, stand, walk, climb/balance – Expert level
Regular reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel – Expert level
Education High School/GED or better in General Studies.
