Job Overview Global Home Improvement is seeking a highly skilled and detail-obsessed Senior Replacement Windows Measuring Technician to join our high-volume residential window division. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring existing windows (not new construction) and submitting precise measure sheets for ordering and installation. Responsibilities
Perform precise measurements of existing residential windows for replacement (not new construction).
Submit completed, accurate measure sheets to the office team for ordering and scheduling.
Travel to customer homes throughout the region to conduct on-site measurements.
Work closely with the office and installation teams to ensure product accuracy and installation efficiency.
Maintain detailed, organized records of each job.
Represent the company professionally during home visits and serve as the first step in a successful install.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience measuring replacement windows in high-volume residential environments.
Deep expertise in replacement window systems, including frame types, sill conditions, and wall construction variations.
Proven ability to assess and adjust for real-world conditions affecting window measurements.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to zero-measurement errors.
Excellent time management and reliability in field-based work.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a hands‑on, in‑field skills evaluation (measuring at least 3 projects).
Strong communication and organizational skills are a plus and could lead to promotion to Project Manager within the window department.
