Our facility is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. Experience in scope reprocessing is essential. Responsibilities
Perform sterilization and decontamination procedures on medical instruments. Assemble, wrap, and prepare surgical trays and instruments. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Participate in ongoing training and continuing education programs. Respond to urgent needs in the operating room as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing. National certification (CBSPD and/or HSPA) required. Experience in neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN cases preferred. Must be able to participate in on-call rotations, every two months. South Carolina RN license preferred, with consideration for those applying for licensure. Why ARMStaffing?
