Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob, level or laser level. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw. Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue. Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, windows, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter’s hand tools, and power tools. Measure, cut and install trim, baseboard and casing with accuracy. Must be able to apply different applications properly. Fill cracks and other defects in plaster or plasterboard and sand patch, using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tool. Position Requirements
High school diploma/GED Previous construction management experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability Effective written and oral communication Skills, Physical Demands, and Competencies
Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing) Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
