Quality Control Technician You will have an integral role in Merck's commitment to ensuring a positive difference is made to millions of peoples lives through your role as a QC Lab Technician, working within the wider quality control team. You will have a varied, challenging and rewarding role reporting in to the QC Supervisors.
Duties
Undertaking all general QC testing for raw materials, site water systems, validation and finished goods
Taking samples from the site water systems
Participating in the development of relevant procedures, and where required, update of controlled documents to fulfil testing requirements
Actively utilising SAP for the reporting of QC results and review of final results
Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives relating to QC testing activities
Participating in department training and where required development and performance of training to meet site training needs
Actively participating in the EHS responsibilities for all functions performed within QC
Qualifications
Be a graduate with degree in Biological, Life or Chemical Sciences
Previous experience of working within a GMP environment is beneficial
High attention to detail at all times
Excellent communicator
High Interpersonal and teamwork skills
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
This role is offered on a temporary ongoing basis, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm, 37.5 hours per week with an immediate start available.
