The gas house operator will set up and operate all equipment related to the propellant phase of filling cans with the customer’s specific formula in a timely and efficient manner to promote continuous production. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate and troubleshoot U.T.C.gassers, multi-head gasser, crimper and/or other peripheral equipment to fill cans with the customer’s specific propellant Manually drop valves by hand on lines where required Perform weight, pressure, vacuum and crimp checks regularly or at specified intervals Perform height and diameter changeovers, securing correct parts, components, etc in a timely and efficient manner Perform daily routine maintenance of equipment Will perform and/or assist in major overhaul of equipment as scheduled or required Properly complete gas hours activity report on a daily basis Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, skills, and abilities Must have mechanical aptitude Extensive knowledge of pressure gas and undercup filling operations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications:
High school diploma preferred Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20/hr to $23/hr based on related experience. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
