Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Full‑time
Material waste disposal site in Surprise, AZ
Responsibilities
Repair equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars
Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air‑conditioning systems, and electrical systems
Perform preventative maintenance as set out by the site checklist
Complete paperwork and administrative tasks such as work orders, card files, P.M. checklists, and oil samples
Service and maintain other equipment such as light plants, water pumps, welders, and other equipment
Qualifications
1 year of maintenance mechanic experience on heavy equipment
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Be over 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, and other physical occupational risks onsite
Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, extreme weather, heat, and humidity, both inside garages/shops and outside
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
