Come build your future with United Rentals! As a Fence Installer, you will use your skills to install and dismantle temporary structures using powered equipment, various lifts, and hand tools.

What You’ll Do

Install and dismantle temporary fence using powered equipment, various types of lifts, and hand tools.

Assemble fence rental items and accessories per manufacturer, company, and safety policy and procedures.

Inspect installed equipment prior to leaving the job site.

Load and unload truck properly at the job site.

Interact constantly with co‑workers and the public.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency

Entry level position

Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license (minimal driving infractions a plus, but not required)

Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations a plus, but not required

Construction or related experience a plus, but not required

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Most work will be outdoors and associated with weather conditions

Other duties assigned as needed
