Assembler (1st Shift) FLSA: Non‑exempt

What You’ll Get To Do

Set up production stations according to job specifications.

Operate air-powered tools and departmental machinery to assemble components.

Clean, seal, and apply weather stripping to windows and frames.

Use tape measures, drills, and other tools to install hardware and glass.

Fabricate and hang sashes.

Perform quality checks on assembled products.

Load and prepare items for shipping and production.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow company quality standards and standard operating procedures.

Lead and support team efforts as needed.

Participate in OSHA safety training and follow all PPE & JSA guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

High School Diploma or GED required.

Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer skills.

Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.

Good work ethic with consistent attendance.

Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements & Worksite Conditions

Ability to lift, bend, twist, carry, walk, and reach frequently.

Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds intermittently.

Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor, wearing steel-toed shoes with metatarsal guards and other safety equipment for eight to ten hours per day.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment without temperature or humidity control.

Engage in pre-shift and mid-shift stretching routines.
