Job Title: Skilled Trades-Electrician

Job Information
Starting wage $34.50 hourly rate.
Subject to CBA shift movement; must be flexible with shift and start/stop times during the start-up period.
Tentative date to fill position – to be determined.
Rate of pay based on CBA wage guidelines.
Applicant must meet all requirements of the job.
Valid application on file per CBA guidelines required.
Must be able to verify documentation with company and U.A.W. Chairman.
Follow probationary employee guidelines per the CBA.
Position Requirements
Troubleshoot commercial/industrial electrical equipment installations.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine correct layout.
Uphold all electrical equipment and related components in accordance with all applicable codes and standards; maintain accurate records.
4 years’ experience as an electrician or electrical technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Journeyman card highly preferred.
Experience working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
Experience in replacing broken or defective parts in equipment or machines, electrical equipment, and tooling.
Ability to work at heights and hot/cold conditions.
Able to work any shift.
Able to work overtime.
