As a Commercial Tire Technician, you will ensure that entire fleet operations run safely and efficiently, providing both preventive and emergency tire service.
Key Responsibilities
Directly responsible for all tire‑related services throughout the fleet: mounting, installation, inventory, preventive maintenance, repairs, and documentation.
Perform emergency roadside service (ERS) during business hours and roadside flat‑tire repairs or replacements as part of a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
Conduct yard checks, visual inspections, tread depth checks, air pressure checks, identify abuse and irregular wear patterns, and complete all related documentation.
Follow proper guidelines for mounting and dismounting tires.
Ensure preventative best practices and maintain safety standards.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical environment; continue to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform lifting, twisting, pushing/pulling, bending, squatting, climbing, standing, walking for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to drive a commercial pickup truck (F‑250 or F‑350).
Must be available for on‑call and after‑hour service rotation and own reliable transportation.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (overtime as needed).
Mandatory on‑call rotation 24/7 as required by business needs (typically a set schedule).
