Qualifications Required Education:
High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Associate degree (or higher) in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) or related technical field preferred.
Required Experience:
One (1) year of job-related experience required. More than five (5) years of job-related experience preferred. Human Resources (HR) may substitute formal post-secondary education in a job-related field for required experience on a 1:1 basis.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Technician Certification, Type Universal.

Responsibilities Job Summary:
Maintains all heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment so the systems operate in a safe clean and efficient manner. Handles emergency repairs and maintenance in plant operations (as required), and “after hours” emergency repairs throughout the campus (as required), in an expeditious manner to minimize disruption of services to patients. Operates and performs routine maintenance on the chillers and HVAC equipment in a timely, cost effective, and efficient manner. Performs all the above in an atmosphere conducive to good patient/guest relations, good employee relations, and support a harmonious, team-oriented approach to accomplishing assigned tasks.
