Location: New York, NY | FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt, Hourly | Worksite Status: Onsite Responsibilities

Responsible for clearing of kitchen and bathroom backup drains, slow drains and total stoppage. Replacement or repairs of kitchen and bathroom fixtures & drains. Removal of defective waste lines and installation of new waste lines underneath kitchen sinks. Replacement of kitchen sinks, faucets, shower bodies, toilet bowls and other fixtures. Repair of hot or cold feed lines, waste lines, and existing fixtures. Demolition of ceramic tile walls, gypsum and plaster walls to remove defective water & waste lines for repairs. Replacement of defective soil and waste stacks, floor drains, and horizontal waste & soil lines up to 8”. Clearing of waste stacks, floor drains and roof leaders; flushing of cold & hot feed and return lines. Emergency shutdown of fireman valves, domestic valves, water in buildings, and standpipe valves. Flushing of the cold & hot water system for individual risers; cleaning of ejectors and sprinkler systems. Repair and maintenance of laundry room water supplies, drains and discharge tubs. Troche‑shooting and solving plumbing issues (Wet Wall Program, etc.). Other related tasks as needed to keep residential and commercial properties functioning. What you should have

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a construction trade. Proficiency with tablet‑based work order programs. Ability to multi‑task under high pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Good time management and organizational skills. Availability for weekend or overtime work and emergency response. Valid driver’s license and enrollment in the New York State LENS program. Basic–intermediate understanding of Microsoft Outlook. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.). A strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. A belief that doing the right thing is the only option, no matter how difficult it might be. A willingness to respond to emergency situations at any time. What we offer

Base Salary: $30.38 per hour (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience & location).
