Mistras Group Inc. is in search of Rope Access Technician Level II for our Jacksonville, FL location. Candidates must be local to the area. Minimum Requirements
Maintains certification as a Level II or III Rope Access Technician (SPRAT or IRATA). Or an interest in obtaining such certifications. High school graduate or GED. Relevant bachelor's and advanced degrees are an asset. Meets the Company’s first-aid, CPR, and AED certification requirements at time of hire or within 60 days thereafter. Current team members must always maintain these certifications. Valid driver’s license within the state of primary residence, without restrictions. Current TWIC Able to effectively use technology including but not limited to computers and communication devices. Examples include strong competency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) and online communication platforms. Capable of basic technology troubleshooting and proper use of communication tools. Working Conditions
Field duties require outdoor work in a plant atmosphere. Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and clients. Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels. Must be physically fit and able to carry 50 lbs. frequently for Radiography work. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. May be at more than one jobsite in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.
