Feed Mill Operator / Best Job Opportunity in Meridian, ID!
We are an Organic Certified Feed Mill located in Meridian, ID and need help right away! Pay is $20-$25 per hr. plus quarterly bonus, full benefits, and advancement opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor feed mill equipment including mixers, grinders, pellet mills, and conveyors. Accurately weigh and mix feed ingredients based on provided formulations. Load and unload raw materials and finished products using equipment such as forklifts or skid steers. Conduct regular equipment checks and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Keep production and inventory records up to date and accurate. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the feed mill and storage areas. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with loading finished feed into trucks or storage bins. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a feed mill, agricultural, or manufacturing setting preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Forklift experience or certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in dusty, noisy, or hot/cold conditions. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather or temperature conditions. Requires standing, lifting, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods. Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Seniority Level
