Basic X‑Ray Machine Operator – KISSIMMEE – AdventHealth
AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated Basic X‑Ray Machine Operator for our urgent care facility in Kissimmee, FL. The role focuses on providing high‑quality radiographic imaging while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards.
Takes x‑rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, setting up and operating radiographic equipment.
Selects proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts/sets radiographic controls.
Positions patients and takes x‑rays of specific body parts as requested by physician.
Processes film and checks x‑rays for clarity, retaking when needed, and maintains organized film files.
Ensures reports and/or films are available to physicians in a timely manner.
Maintains required records, including patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports.
Performs quality control checks to assure the x‑ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and company policies.
Maintains a clean and orderly x‑ray room, stocks necessary supplies, and rotates film stock.
Verifies correct charges on charge slips for x‑rays, treatments, and procedures.
Reports equipment malfunctions to the supervisor and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent (Required)
Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS)
Resuscitation Quality Improvement – RQI
Basic X‑Ray Machine Operator (BMO) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $19.23 – $30.77 per hour
