Future Builders RCG Program – Homebuilding – Land
Join Lennar as a recent college graduate in our 6‑month training program with placement into a full‑time role in Construction, Purchasing, or Land. The program develops essential interpersonal and technical skills and positions associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Program Overview
Participants work alongside seasoned professionals within a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture, contributing to impactful projects and becoming immersed in Lennar’s business through onboarding, hands‑on training, and professional development. All positions in the Future Builders Program are temporary and do not guarantee future employment; upon completion, the company will decide whether to offer a regular full‑time position based on performance and business needs. Land Analyst Responsibilities
Lead financial analysis for quarterly and annual division business plans, summarizing actual and projected performance for the division and each asset. Prepare gross revenues, profit margins, cash‑flow forecasts, break‑even analysis, cost‑basis and cost‑of‑sales analysis, return‑on‑assets, and internal rate of return. Assist in financial feasibility analysis for acquisition opportunities. Prepare underwriting pro‑formas and related financial documentation for each acquired asset. Conduct asset sales pricing analysis and formulate financial deal points for disposition opportunities. Recommend price/profit structures, escalations, payment schedules, interest rates, etc. Maintain computerized financial pro‑forma models for community planning. Develop alternative business planning scenarios to recommend optimum financial plans. Collaborate with corporate finance to ensure adherence to financial strategies and accurate data presentation. Maintain market analysis database for project feasibility. Collect competitive market data through site visits and analysis. Assist with Greenfolder processes, preparing necessary charts and reports. Formulate budgets, administer vendor contracts, change orders, check requests, and invoices, and periodically update annual objectives and budgets. Requirements
Current senior graduating from a 4‑year college or university by June (preferred). Willingness to relocate with support at program end (preferred). Working toward a bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, architecture, or a similar field (preferred). Authorized to work in the United States without needing employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Lennar does not sponsor U.S. work visa status for this opportunity. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid auto insurance coverage. Basic understanding of real estate and residential land use. Local real estate knowledge is extremely beneficial. Knowledge of zoning, entitlements, and relevant regulations. Ability to read, understand, and evaluate civil engineering or development plans. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a working knowledge of mapping applications. Ability to work with various technologies and develop skills for new tools, platforms, and digital workflows. Open to engagement in personal or professional development through learning opportunities (certifications, courses, professional networks). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal and customer service skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Annual salary range is $63,000–$68,500, subject to adjustment based on qualifications and geographic pay differentials. The position may be eligible for bonuses and commissions and will receive the benefits described above in accordance with company policy. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
Primarily a sedentary office position requiring over eight hours per day in a confined office. Requires standing for filing and copying and ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity for operating a computer keyboard and calculator.
