About the Role To carry out preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of diesel engine–driven dewatering pumps,generators, ensuring reliable operation during normal conditions and critical situations.
Perform routine servicing and maintenance of diesel engines including oil change, filter replacement, belt checks, and cooling system inspection.
Diagnose and repair diesel engine faults related to starting, overheating, abnormal noise, vibration, or smoke emissions.
Carry out maintenance of dewatering pumps, including inspection of impellers, seals, bearings, suction and discharge lines.
Ensure proper pump priming, alignment, and discharge pressure before operation.
Attend breakdown and emergency call-outs, especially during rain or flood events. Coordinate with electricians for issues related to control panels, alarms, and safety interlocks. eport equipment condition, defects, and spare part requirements to the supervisor.
What do we need from you
ITI / Diploma in
Mechanical, Automobile, or Diesel Engine Technology .
Minimum
5 years of hands-on experience
in diesel engine maintenance.
Mandatory -UAE Driving license - Manual
Experience with
dewatering pumps, stormwater pumps, or construction pumping systems
is mandatory.
