Electronic Machine Operator Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi‑automatic machines used in the production of the company’s products. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by a supervisor to perform production tasks, and checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
Responsibilities Include
Set up and operate automatic and semi‑automatic machines for operation.
Use specialty machinery, such as feeding raw materials or parts into semi‑automated machines.
Check parts for precision using measuring tools and inspect output for flaws.
Keep records of approved and defective units, and maintain activity logs.
Work from process sheets or written instructions given by a supervisor to perform production tasks.
Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.
Follow all company safety and ESD program requirements; report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Properly handle and dispose of all waste, including hazardous waste generated in daily operations as directed by applicable SOPs.
Education and Experience
High School or GED.
2–4 years of related experience.
Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment is a plus.
