Sullivan Tire And Auto Service
Independently performs vehicle repairs and services on customer’s vehicles while also delivering the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction. Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction standards are met. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Major Responsibilities
Properly mounts, dismounts, balances and repairs passenger and light truck tires.
Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
Properly perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
Perform unsupervised diagnosis and repairs of vehicles including, but not limited to, maintenance, brakes, alignment, and light tune ups utilizing automotive tools, equipment, software (i.e. VAST, Automotive PC programs).
Produce accurate repair estimates on customer vehicles.
Properly adhere to safety and environmental standards which includes maintaining a neat and clean work area by disposing of all waste products properly.
Communicate with customer and/or sales staff in understandable terms the repairs needed to the vehicle and the value that comes with the repairs.
Assume other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree a plus. Minimum of 1 year of experience with 1 ASE certification in Brakes. Valid Driver’s License required.
Skills/Knowledge
Customer service focus in a retail environment
Ability to lift 40‑50 lbs
Basic conflict resolution skills
Solid understanding of automotive tire and auto service industry
Basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs.
Basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑pace environment
