Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools to include Haas, Makino, Miyano, Nakamura, and others, determining speeds and feeds with the ability to align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and accessories.
Sequence automatic machine operations and define setup requirements, select cutting tools, and program proper feeds and speeds to successfully machine parts.
Identify optimal manufacturing processes based on part configuration and batch size.
Inspect work and make necessary notations on work routers.
The nature of the work is a mix of small to medium quantity runs with frequent set‑ups.
Desired Qualifications
Two or more years minimum CNC machining and set‑up experience.
Experience in inspecting your own parts using various dimensional tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T).
Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, setting up and operating CNC equipment.
Good attendance, punctuality, and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
