Job Description The Woodshop Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery to produce high-quality wood components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Requirements
Operate woodworking machines such as saws, planers, routers, sanders, and CNC equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood materials to precise dimensions.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
