Water/Wastewater Operator
Position: Water/Wastewater Operator at Antrim Water & Sewer Department.
The Department is seeking a full‑time operator to perform skilled and unskilled work in the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment plant, equipment, facilities, and collection systems. The employee will work under the supervision of the Antrim Water/Wastewater Superintendent.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plant systems and equipment, including pipelines, valves, fire hydrants, pumps, meters, computer systems, and ArcGIS mapping software.
Perform physical labor in varying weather conditions, including overtime work during nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response during system failures or inclement weather.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the superintendent.
Requirements:
Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Municipal Water/Wastewater Facility experience preferred.
Relevant training and licenses possessed.
Schedule:
Full-time position. Overtime is required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response during system failures or inclement weather.
Pay:
Hourly with paid overtime, commensurate with experience, training and licenses possessed.
