Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, invites applications for the Sr. Electrical Engineering Technician position based in Anderson, SC.
Job Description
As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will perform technical tasks associated with qualifying new power tool products for safety and reliability in a laboratory environment. Primary responsibilities include following defined test procedures, collecting qualification data, and generating reports for cross‑functional team review.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform testing for qualifying new power tools and lithium‑ion batteries and chargers.
Follow defined test procedures and complete all tasks with proper techniques and protocols.
Gather test data with appropriate equipment and generate reports for review and approval.
Communicate findings clearly to the cross‑functional development team.
Cross‑train on specialty equipment in the Electronics Lab, including automated battery test fixtures, x‑ray equipment, and 3D printers.
Debug electronic circuits from qualification samples and field returns.
Assemble product prototype samples and test fixtures as required.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Required Job Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Basic familiarity with electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
Experience evaluating, testing, and debugging electronic circuits.
Can‑do attitude, willingness to learn new technical skills, and ability to work well in a team.
Strong time‑management skills and self‑motivation.

$100,000 – $140,000 per annum
