Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Security Film Installer to support a glass company in Harlingen, TX. This role focuses on installing specialized security window films/tints designed to enhance safety, durability, and break‑resistant protection. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with film/tint application and can work with precision and professionalism on commercial or residential projects.
Responsibilities
Install specialized security window films/tints on glass surfaces for commercial and residential applications.
Measure, cut, and prepare film materials according to project specifications.
Clean and prep glass surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and finish.
Use professional tinting tools such as squeegees, knives, heat guns, and application solutions.
Ensure smooth, bubble‑free, and properly aligned film installation.
Remove old tint/film when necessary.
Safely handle and work with glass materials as part of the installation process.
Communicate with supervisors, clients, and team members to meet project deadlines.
Follow company quality standards and comply with all safety protocols.
Requirements
Prior experience installing window tint, film, or security‑grade laminate.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, high‑quality work.
Knowledge of tools and techniques used in film/tint installation.
Ability to lift, carry, and work with glass materials as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Clean background.
Ability to work overtime or weekends if needed.
Preferred Skills
Experience with commercial safety/security film installations.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot installation challenges.
Familiarity with glazing or general glass work is a plus.
