Lead Carpenter / Installer (Carpenter)

Overview Champion Window is seeking a Lead Carpenter / Installer to lead the installation process of Champion built Sunrooms, including walls, windows, roofs, support structures, and doors, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Ensure all decks and sunrooms are built in compliance with Champion engineering specifications and regulatory code requirements
Review contract folders, instructions and drawings before assignments to clarify work to be completed
Lead the installation of the product and direct the helper to complete a Champion quality job safely and timely
Interact with customers professionally, maintaining Champion’s reputation
Ensure the company truck is equipped with all parts, products, tools and resources necessary for assigned projects
Perform all job aspects in compliance with federal, state and local laws
Qualifications
3‑5 years prior experience in construction involving carpentry, roofing and window installation
High school diploma or GED preferred; associate degree or trade school construction experience a plus
Experience with brake, utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools and other hand tools
Clean driving record with the ability to operate and maintain a fleet vehicle
Math skills – using a tape measure and angles
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Certified in lead standard a plus
