A leading aviation organization is seeking an experienced
Lead A&P Technician
to join its growing maintenance team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse, high‑end fleet including light, super mid‑size, long‑range, and ultra‑long‑range aircraft. With maintenance hubs across the U.S. and Europe, this role supports operations within one of the world’s premier base maintenance environments. The Lead A&P Technician plays a key role in upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence while working alongside a collaborative and highly skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned maintenance tasks efficiently under the direction of the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor.
Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing clear updates on aircraft maintenance status.
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure materials and components are available when needed.
Open work orders and accurately complete all required maintenance documentation.
Provide inspection support as authorized by the Chief Inspector.
Conduct inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) and customer General Maintenance Manuals (GMM).
Work collaboratively within the maintenance team while exercising sound judgment in safety‑critical situations.
Maintain and repair shop facilities, tools, and equipment to support ongoing operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid FAA A&P Certification required.
Ownership of required tools necessary to perform job duties.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Minimum of five years of experience in a Part 145 environment.
Part 135 experience preferred.
