Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Essential Functions
Possess the ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
Work independently, interpret assembly drawings and follow verbal/written work instructions to produce a high‑quality unit within the allotted time frame.
Have good computer skills with Word and Excel to be able to open and modify documents.
Follow standard procedures.
Qualifications Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with ERP business systems.
Salary and Benefits Salary range: $51,200 – $62,400. This is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer may vary based on experience and location. Benefits include health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, Employee Assistance Program, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company‑paid holidays. Specific programs and options may vary with date of hire, schedule type, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
