Land Development Engineering Technician – Overview

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates residing in most U.S. states. Candidates willing to relocate may indicate it in the application. Due to current business and operational considerations, SEH is unable to hire employees residing in AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, and PR. Candidates residing in these states should note this restriction in their application. Responsibilities

Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water mains, sanitary and storm‑sewer systems, and site improvements. Use Microsoft Excel to develop project bid item tables, quantities, and cost opinions. Prepare construction plans, specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies, and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems. Learn new design techniques and construction capabilities to provide innovative solutions to clients. Essential Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field. Experience working in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Background in civil, municipal, or land‑development projects (preferred). Experience reviewing project plans and cost estimates. Preferred Qualifications

Previous stormwater project experience. Residence in North Carolina. Benefits
