Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation* Conduct inspections and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and longevity* Install, align, and maintain mechanical systems, including conveyors, crushers, and rotating equipment* Collaborate with team members to complete planned and unplanned maintenance activities efficiently* Follow safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated capability in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments* Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to safe work practices* Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**What We Offer*** $26.00 to $30.00 per hour* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
