Job Overview Richmonds Air is seeking skilled and motivated Lead HVAC Installers to join our growing field operations team. As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing high-quality residential HVAC installations. This hands‑on role requires both technical skill and leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, to code, and with complete customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead the installation of residential HVAC systems, including ductwork, furnaces, condensers, coils, and thermostats.
Supervise and mentor apprentices or junior installers on the job site.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints and installation manuals to complete jobs accurately.
Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions and providing system operation instructions.
Conduct post‑installation system testing to verify proper operation.
Maintain a clean and safe job site and vehicle.
Use mobile technology to manage job documentation and reporting.
Represent Richmonds Air with professionalism, punctuality, and customer care.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in residential HVAC installation.
Must hold a valid EPA Certification.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Professional appearance and attitude are a must.
Must be physically able to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
