Since 1996, RQ Construction, LLC has been a leading player in commercial and governmental Design‑Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects spanning coast to coast and internationally, including North Carolina. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast‑track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
Responsibilities Insulators will be responsible for applying insulating materials or ductwork, or other mechanical systems in order to help control and maintain temperature. Work involves technical application of mechanical principles, using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position. Should be supplemented by completion of a Union, private (in‑house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes theory and on‑the‑job work.
4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey‑level mechanical piping insulator (an apprenticeship program preferred) in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
