Disassembler Our Disassembly Operators disassemble and clean core engines and engine parts for use in the remanufacturing process. They are essential in SRC Automotive's business operations! This is a 1st shift position working 5 am–3:30 pm Monday–Thursday with mandatory overtime on Fridays and possible Saturdays.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform routine and non‑routine production duties by following written processes to disassemble core engines, engine components, or to perform assembly on subcomponent parts.
Responsible for the visual and quantifiable inspection of the final result of their process.
Identify and sort disassembled parts to be sent to the correct parts cleaning process/locations.
Eligibility As an employee‑owner, you must have a teammate mentality and strong interpersonal skills. An employee‑owner is proactive, upholds commitments and is continually learning.
Essential Qualifications
Must have the ability to learn basic engine knowledge.
Ability to perform basic math; add and subtract numbers.
Ability to use hand, air, and power tools. Must be able to retrieve and comprehend written processes, and B.O.M's.
Ability to frequently lift 30–50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing‑paced assembly line setting preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
