Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, prepare surfaces, and perform welding to 1G certification standards with precision and quality.
Safely set up and operate welders, ironworkers, band saws, drill presses, and other shop tools to produce accurate assemblies.
Accurately measure materials, convert units as needed, and maintain thorough, precise records.
Operate forklifts and jib cranes following all safety procedures and maintain required certifications.
Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules while ensuring quality, attention to detail, and consistent attendance.
Compensation
The starting pay range for this position is $20–24 per hour, with final compensation dependent on skills, experience, and location.
Night shift positions receive an additional $3 per hour shift differential.

4:30 pm – 3:00 am, Monday through Thursday

Mechanical ability is helpful
Tool identification skills
Ability to read blueprints with attention to detail
Ability to read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” graduations on a tape measure and convert between feet and inches
