Automotive Mechanic Technician II - $2,500 New Hire Bonus
Join our team as an Automotive Mechanic Technician II at Cox Automotive Inc. (Manheim, a Cox Automotive company). This mid‑level auto tech role is part of our automotive maintenance team, working a 4‑day, 10‑hour shift (Sunday‑Wednesday).

What You’ll Do
Provide highly skilled maintenance and repairs for all vehicles
Perform diagnostics and complete repairs on brake components, tires, suspension components, drivability, and complete vehicle repairs
Conduct advanced diagnostics (charging, starting, AC, OBDII, drivability, electrical systems)
Carry out mechanical inspections, including required measurements and documentation of deficiencies
Comply with procedures and regulations for recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash
Fit new vehicles with necessary equipment, if needed
Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts and perform OEM recalls when required
Who You Are We’re looking for a team‑player who wants to continue learning and advancing. The following qualifications are required:
3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience
Safe driver with a valid driver’s license
Ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED
Compensation Hourly base pay rate: $21.49 – $32.26 per hour. The rate varies by location and candidate qualifications. The position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs.
Eligibility & Requirements All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. The role is full‑time, mid‑senior level, and suitable for individuals who are eager to grow within Cox Automotive.
